UPDATE 11:30 PM October 20: The surgery went well...both lungs are in and my friend is resting in ICU and doing well...
UPDATE 10:39am October 20: My friend got the call that there were lungs available and to get to the hospital 8.5 hours ago... Any prayers and good thoughts are appreciated...

This piece is dedicated to a very close friend of mine...:heart: :rose:

Cystic Fibrosis is an insidious disease which mainly affects the lungs and digestive system. While there have been great strides in treatment options, the disease is not easily controlled and results in a shortened life expectancy. A lung transplant is often the best hope for a sufferer of CF. You can find more information about the disease at this link, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation if you are interested.

=) I joked with the one this is dedicated to about that.. But the pink in the "breathers" was very important...healthy lungs.. and orange really wasn't going to work for that... :lol: Thank you!
